Jewell Floe Kibler, 98, of Casey, IL passed away at 2:04 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL. She was born on October 3, 1917 in Hidalgo, IL, the daughter of Eura Isley and Velva Brooks Isley. On November 21, 1933 she married Glen O. Kibler in Greenup, IL. He passed away on August 17, 1996.
Survivors include her sons, Lowell Kibler of Casey, IL and Harold Kibler of Monticello, IN; daughter, Marilyn Davis of Effingham, IL; half-sister, Eileen Taggart of Casey, IL; seven grandchildren; many great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sons, Gene, Noel and Carl Kibler; brothers, Doit, Kenneth and Delbert Isley and sisters, Beulah Henderson and Donna Marie Mendenhall.
Jewell was a member of the Westside Church of Christ in Casey, IL. She was a very talented quilter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, January15, 2016 at Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL. Burial will follow at the Swick Cemetery, southeast of Hidalgo, IL. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the service at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
