Condolence: so very sorry to hear about Ms. Thompson's passing. she was a very special woman to so many and never forgot a face or name! my daughter took piano lessons from her for a few years and we visited some afterwards but one would think that with so many students over so many years that memories would fade; not Marge...over the years, whenever we met, she never failed to ask about my daughter...some people are special like that. rest in peace dear lady.

LOVE YOU GRANDMA- Here is a poem that my mom (marges daugher _Ginny Haney wrote: I thought id share it with the people who didnt get to hear it at the funeral. Thanks everyone for your prayers!
OUR VERY SPECIAL MOTHER

OUR MOTHER WAS VERY SPECIAL,
AS ALL MOTHERS ARE.
THERE WAS NO OTHER LIKE MARGIE,
NOT NEAR OR AFAR.

GOD GAVE HER A VERY SPECIAL GIFT,
WHICH AS ALL OF YOU KNOW,
WAS HER TALENT OF MUSIC,
WHICH HAS BLESSED US ALL SO.

SHE COULD READ MUSIC,
OR JUST PLAY BY EAR,
WHAT A GIFT SHE WAS GIVEN,
AND WE ALL LOVED TO HEAR.

AS A YOUNG GIRL OF FOUR,
SHE BEGAN TO PLAY,
AS HER LOVE FOR THE PIANO,
GREW STRONGER EVERYDAY.

SHE WOULD RIDE HER BIKE FOR MILES,
TO TAKE HER PIANO LESSON,
and IT WAS WORTH EVERY MINUTE,
AS SHE LOVED EVERY SESSION.

GOD MADE HER SO SPECIAL, IN SO MANY WAYS,
SHE ENTERTAINED SO MANY, UP TO HER LAST DAYS!

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE,
WE OFTEN HEARD HER SAY,
AND PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT,
WHEN DONE EVERYDAY!

SHE KEPT US QUITE BUSY,
OH, SO MUCH TO DO,
SHE LOVED TO KEEP US HOPPING,
AND THE ORDERS, HOW THEY FLEW!

THIS GOES HERE, AND THAT GOES THERE,
WE MUSN'T HAVE CHAOS EVERYWHERE!
A PLACE FOR THIS, AND A PLACE FOR THAT,
SHE SURE COULD WEAR US OUT, AND THAT WAS A FACT!

A DEVOTED CHRISTIAN MOTHER,
SHE DID HER BEST TO RAISE US RIGHT,
TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY MORNING,
MAKE SURE YOU SAY YOUR PRAYERS AT NIGHT!

HER LIFE SHE DEDICATED, TO OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST,
AND SHE LIVED THIS TO THE FULLEST, IN HER EVERYDAY LIFE!

ALWAYS HELPING OTHERS, IN ANYWAY SHE COULD.,
A SIMPLE CARD OR PHONECALL,
A PIECE OF CAKE OR PIE,
FOR SHE LOVED TO GIVE TO OTHERS,
AND THIS WE CAN'T DENY.

THE GRANDKIDS CALLED HER "GG",
AND HOW THEY LOVED HER SO,
SHE MADE EACH ONE FEEL SPECIAL,
SHE LOVED THEM ALL, AS THEY ALL KNOW!

SHE TAUGHT US ALL OF JESUS,
SHE WANTED US ALL TO KNOW,
THAT IF YOU ASKED HIM TO BE YOUR SAVIOUR,
THEN TO HEAVEN YOU WOULD GO.

SHE MADE THE BEST HOMEMADE NOODLES,
WHICH WERE LOVED BY ONE AND ALL,
SHE WOULD MAKE THEM BY REQUEST,
ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS CALL!

WE WILL MISS HER OH SO MUCH,
THE HOLIDAYS, HER GENTLE TOUCH.
HER WONDERFUL MEALS THAT SHE LOVED TO MAKE,
AND ESPECIALLY HER ITALIAN CRÈME CAKE!!!
HER SUFFERING IS OVER NOW,
FOR THIS WE MUST REJOICE!
WE DID NOT WANT TO LET HER GO,
BUT IT WAS NOT OUR CHOICE!

WILL SHE DANCE FOR JESUS?
WILL SHE SING IN AWESOME PRAISE?
WILL THERE BE A PIANO FOR HER,
TO GLORIFY HIS NAME?

GOD SAID - YOUR WORK IS DONE MY CHILD,
AND WHAT A GREAT JOB YOU HAVE DONE!
BUT I NEED YOU HERE WITH ME NOW,
YOU ARE MY CHOSEN ONE!!!

Forever in our hearts!!!! Love ya Momma!!!
From all your kids, grandkids, and great grandkids!!! BY GINNY HANEY 7-11-14

Condolence: You all have my deepest sympathy, your Mom was a good friend whom I will miss. Even though we didn't spend a lot of time together the past few years we always stayed in touch through cards and phone calls. We made so many great memories and had many good laughs. RIP, my friend.

Condolence: I have known Marge almost my entire life. She worked for my parents in their cafe as a teenager. And although there was about a 20 year age difference she and my mother became lifelong and very close friends. I know my mother cherished that friendship. My condolences to the family
