Barbara "Jean"  Cribelar
Barbara “Jean” Cribelar, age 79, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 6:47 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2016 in Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. She was born April 2, 1937 in Covington, KY, the daughter of Emery Ervin “Red” Inboden and Opal Belle Garrett Inboden. On July 12, 1956 she married Joe Marion Cribelar in Martinsville, IL.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Joe Cribelar; sons, Michael (Sue) Cribelar and Kenneth (Rebecca) Cribelar; daughter, Cynthia Newell, all of Martinsville, IL; brother, Robert (Kay) Inboden of Rock Falls, IL; grandchildren, Travis (Kathleen) Cribelar, Matthew (Kendall) Cribelar, Heather (Jeremy) Thompson, Cindy Jupp, Brandon (Elizabeth) Wofford and Daniel Newell II. She was preceded in death by her parents and son in law, Daniel Newell.

Barbara was a 1955 graduate of Martinsville High School. She retired as a secretary for B&A Electric in Terre Haute, IN. Barbara was a faithful member of the Bluegrass Church of God where she enjoyed singing. She was past secretary for the Martinsville Food Bank in Martinsville, IL and a member the Loyal Order of the Eastern Star.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Greenwell Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Hollensbe officiating. Burial will follow in the Bluegrass Cemetery, rural Martinsville, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday evening at the Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington Street, Martinsville, IL.
