Roberta Jane Durnal, age 71, of Casey, IL passed away at 4:55 p.m. on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Heartland Nursing Center, Casey, IL with her loving family at her side. She was born November 30, 1944 in Trilla, IL, the daughter of Luther Estel Duniphan and Mable Irene Redfern Duniphan.
Survivors include her children, Belinda Sue Clark of Casey, IL; Dennis Wayne Durnal, Jr. and wife Becky of Casey, IL and Melinda Kay Stutesman and husband Bobby of Casey, IL; brother, Max Duniphan of Greenup, IL; sisters, Alberta Parsley of Isabel, IL; Ruth Vernon of Casey, IL; Shirley Donhou of Casey, IL; Patty Huddlestun of Casey, IL; Myrtle Miller of Casey, IL; twenty-five grandchildren: Katrina (David) Phillips, Michael (Leslie) Clark, Heath Clark, Macey Clark, Terry Clark, Randy Clark, Trey Clark, Trisha Clark, Haley Clark, Dennis Wayne (Terrilynn) Durnal III, Baylee Durnal, Amanda Sabrinajane Stutesman, Ashley (Zach) Miller, Cassandra (Mike) Alexander, Sasha Coco, Nicholas Stutesman, Ryan Stutesman, Hunter Stutesman, Jake Stutesman, Landery Stutesman, Rosalena Stutesman, Aliona Stutesman, Jasmine Gast, Zailee Ducharme and Zavier Ducharme; fifteen great grandchildren: Katie Lemonte, Mitch Clark, Courtney Jane Phillips, Riley Phillips, Mashayla Besch, Kiershtn Alexander, Kinzie Alexander, Cali Alexander, Jaxson Miller, Viola Annajane Miller, Aiden Woolley, Alyssa Woolley, Emery Moore and Eden Coco. She was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children, Dennis Wayne “Dude” Durnal and brother, Walter Duniphan.
Roberta’s brothers and sisters love to tell the story of how proud she was to have her own paper route before she was a teenager and how she was able to buy her own bicycle.
At her request graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL with Rev. Jeff Lakins and Rev. Keith Wallace officiating.
