Mary Louise “Totsy” O’Dell, 84, of Yale, IL formerly of Casey, IL passed away at 1:48 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. She was born March 17, 1928 in Warfield, KY; the daughter of Oscar Perham and Sallie C. Coleman Perham. On September 15, 1946, she married Don R. O’Dell in Detroit, MI. He passed away on July 26, 2006.
Survivors include her daughters, Sallie Cox and husband Jerry of Martinsville, IL; Donna Tutewiler and husband James “Jake” of Casey, IL and Thelma Smith of Toledo, IL; stepson, Larry Orndorff and wife Rachel of Terre Haute, IN; twin sisters, Barbara Hanson of Tucson, AZ and Carol Wassell of Orange City, FL; twelve grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; brothers, Frank Perham and Billie Perham and sisters, Gladys Coburn and Emmor Bailey.
Mary was retired from TRW in Casey and Marshall, IL, where she worked as an assembler. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Southard officiating. Burial will follow in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
