Condolences

Condolence From: Brian White
Condolence: It's a shame to lose a man like Abe - I very much enjoyed working with him, and learning from him - he was always willing to share his knowledge and experience. Jim will be fondly remembered for always having a smile on his face and an infectious enthusiasm for life. The stories he shared of himself and his family are proof of the love he had for you all.

Condolence: Phyllis and family: While in preaching, many people touch ones soul. Yet few men have had a touch like "Jimbo". His talented abilities in teaching God's Word will be greatly missed at Casey church of Christ. His influence however, will last for as long as there are those who knew and loved him! He was a great man, and a great friend! Thanks for sharing him ... God has richly blessed us by allowing us to know Jim Abraham!

Condolence: Jim & I arrived back at ITT on the same day 5/15/1967. We were so young and full of spunk! I had met him 2 years earlier when I did a Co-op program at ITT. He was always positive and helpful to me throughout our careers. We parted in 1970 and went our separate paths but never forgot one another. We later rejoined at Litton in the 1980's and renewed our friendship. I last spoke to him about 8 months ago. I will truly miss Jim and all the good times we had together. A part of me died with Jim. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: I was truly blessed to be born into the Hickox family. I have such fond memories of my childhood and so many of them revolve around when all my relatives came home and we all got together down on my Grandpa's farm. Uncle Jim was always so much fun to be around. He had an infectious smile and humor was as much a part of him as his soul. I will truly miss him and I am so glad he was a part of our family. It is comforting to know Dad has someone like Uncle Jim to keep him company. All my love to Aunt Phyllis, Lynette, Rod, Jeannie, James and Chad.

Condolence: Jim(Abe) was always there with a helping hand to all who wanted to learn. I am sure many young engineers & technicians remember how willing he was to guide them in solving problems in the work place...Teaching was something he excelled at and loved to do. (Abe had a special gift to "think outside the box" and come up with the right solutions.) I especially enjoyed on a Monday morning listening and sharing stories with Abe about the local high schools' Friday night football game. He had a genuine interest in sports and the young men and women who participated. Abe you will be missed but certainly never forgotten... May you Rest in Peace. Phyllis & Family, You are in our Thoughts & Prayers...

Condolence: I was going down the hallway to a lab just the other day, and heard his voice,,, the day after he went to his other state. We are all still bonded. We 1st worked together on the Hubble project, but I had known of him before,,,,, "the Guru" for this type of technology. I was elated for him to select me to move this project forward. History shows his success and my memories are lasting. From that time on until just 2 weeks ago, we have maintained a technical and humanitarian network for many projects. He IS living on, just not here. God Bless him, and all of his family,,, keep your focus Jimmy!, I know you are not far away.

Condolence: We will not physically be at his memorial service, but we will be there in spirit. Jim was a dear dear friend and associate. We worked together a lot, & we played together a little, but always the engagement was the best. We owe a lot to Jim, and we will always treasure our time together. He was one of the very best. In God we trust, and in God we trust Jimmy.
