Wilma Christine Ping, 72, of Casey, IL passed away at 2:57 a.m. on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at her home in Casey, IL. She was born November 26, 1937 in Longview, Washington, the daughter of Roy O. Willman and Ruth G. Fowler Willman. On July 14, 1958 she married Teddy B. Ping in Cicero, Illinois. He passed away on May 9, 1981.

Survivors include her son, Randy Ping and wife Donna of Mooresville, NC; granddaughters, Brittany Ping, Autumn Ping and Hannah Ping of Mooresville, NC; brothers, Jon Willman of Longview, WA and James Willman of Savannah, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandchild.

Christine moved to Casey in 1969 from Niles, IL. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Casey, IL. She was also a member of the First Christian Church Women’s Circle and Craft Club.

At her request, graveside services and burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Casey Cumberland Cemetery with Rev. Dana Zartman officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL.
