Stephen L. Allen, 67, of Rochester Hills, MI passed away on March 23, 2011 in Rochester Hills, MI. He was born October 29, 1943, the son of Gerald Allen and Christine Bennett Allen.

Survivors include his nephews, Mark Gilbert of Crete, IL and Michael Gilbert of Wilmington, IL; great nephew and niece, Nicholas and Christina Gilbert of Munster, IN and Crete, IL; dear friends, Janice Goble Caloia and William Murray of MI and several cousins, which are from the Westfield, IL area. He was preceded in death by his parents and uncle, Richard G. “Bud” Gilbert.

A private graveside committal will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Maple Hill Cemetery, Westfield, IL with Mrs. Susan Gilbert Sanders officiating.
