John Anthony Zink, 75, of Casey, IL passed away on Sunday evening, September 2, 2012 at his home. He was born December 22, 1938 in Lafayette, IN, the son of John Frederick Zink and Bernice Katherine Thoennes Zink. On May 5, 1973 he married Vicki Vanatta in Champaign, IL.


Survivors include his wife, Vicki Vanatta Zink of Casey, IL; son, Chris Zink and wife Kelli of Grand Prairie, TX; granddaughter, Bayli Bernethy; grandsons, Sean Lyon and Jacob Zink; brother, Stephen Zink and wife Cathy of Lafayette, IN; sister, Constance Arnold of Lafayette, IN and sister, Sarah Yancy of Lafayette, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers in law.


A Rosary service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Father Michael Haag officiating. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the Rosary service.
