Robert Dean "Bob"  Houpt
Robert Dean “Bob” Houpt, age 87, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 5:19 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. He was born October 17, 1929 in Casey, IL, the son of Jesse Richmond Houpt and Mildred Frances Watson Houpt Kentner. In June 1951 he married Elizabeth Ann Daven. She passed away on May 2, 1992.

Survivors include daughter, Susie (LeRoy) Preis of Okawville, IL; son, Steve (Coralee) Houpt of Martinsville, IL; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents, wives and brother, Jackie Lee Houpt.

Bob was a lifelong farmer in the Martinsville area. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Clark County Shrine Club.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville, IL with the Rev. Kevin Small officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday evening at Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL.

Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals, 4400 Clayton Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110
