Warren E.   Pierce
Warren E. Pierce, age 60, of Casey, IL departed for an eternal fishing trip with his dad and father in law at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. He was born November 8, 1956, in Vincennes, IN, the son of Ralph Eugene and Laura Mae Hall Pierce. On February 23, 1976, he married Vicki Sue Stephens in Robinson, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki Pierce of Casey, IL; daughters, Linda (Lary) Sales of Casey, IL, Lisa Pierce, Christy Pierce and Sarah Pierce all of Toledo, IL; grandchildren, Anthony and Tyler DeLay of Elk City, OK; Ryan DeLay of Casey, IL; Allie and Jacob Legg of Toledo, IL and Shayla Radtke of Toledo, IL; mother, Laura Pierce of Mt. Carmel, IL; siblings, Jerry Pierce of Hot Springs, AR; Mark (Sharon) Pierce, David Pierce, Roger Pierce, Carl (Juanita) Pierce and Loretta Pierce all of Mt. Carmel, IL. He was preceded in death by his father.

Warren was a 1976 graduate of Robinson High School, Robinson, IL. He worked in Oklahoma oilfields for several years and recently worked in industrial maintenance at Pretium Packing in Paris, IL. Warren was diagnosed with lung cancer in June 2015 and was disabled shortly thereafter. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding, woodworking, working on cars and was an avid coffee and Pepsi drinker. Warren was passionate about helping others and had a big heart. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Memorial services will be conducted at 6:30 pm on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL with Rev Diane Jarrard and Rev. Lary Sales officiating. The family requests you bring your favorite “Warren” story to share.

Memorial donations may be made to Sarah Bush Lincoln Cancer Center, 1000 Health Center Drive, Mattoon, IL 61938.
