Condolence: I thought of her today on my way home from work and before I heard of her passing... Our daughter graduates in May with her masters degree in chemistry and as I was contemplating, it took my mind back to Mrs. Brown's chemistry class and made me smile. Teachers have such a lasting impact. I'm glad she was mine. My kind regards and appreciation to her family.

Condolence: I met her in the 6th grade when she came to Roosevelt School and asked me to join the Jr. High Scholastic Bowl team. It was from that day forward that this special teacher, mentor and coach would challenge me to use my brain and my life in ways I never imagined possible. Her influence on me continues today. Rest in peace, Mrs. Brown. We will miss you!

Condolence: Prayers and condolences to the family of Ma Brown. Some of my fondest memories of high school are of being in Ma's Chemistry and Physics class. I remember the time when no one was checking out her bulletin board so she posted the upcoming test complete with answers on it, unfortunately no one had taken advantage of the situation. RIP Ma, love you always. I regret that I will be unable to attend the services.
