Linda Sue Cox, age 68, of Westfield, IL passed away at 12:50 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Sharon Elms Nursing Home, Peoria, IL. She was born March 4, 1948 in Terre Haute, IN the daughter of Donald E. Coleman and Shirley Ann Swanson Coleman. On May 29, 1970 she married Logan Cox at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Casey, IL.

Survivors include husband, Logan Cox of Westfield, IL; son, William Cox of El Paso, IL; daughter, Alicia Bury of Lexington, IL; brother, Danny Coleman of Lebanon, IN; grandchildren, Levi Cox, Seth Bury and Alexis Bury; nephews and nieces; her Trinity Lutheran Church family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Donna Lou Coleman.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of Casey High School. She retired as a Teachers Aid from the Casey Westfield School District after many years. Linda was a faithful member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 201 E. Colorado St., Casey, IL with Pastor Matthew Jukola officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Danville National Cemetery, 1900 E. Main St., Danville, IL.
