Doyle Allen Connelly, 81, of Sebring, FL formerly of Casey, died at 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, November 27 at his home with his wife of 62 years at his side. Doyle was born on January 25, 1935 in Casey, the son of Carl and Lula (Lansbery) Connelly. He married Margaret M. Wilson on October 3, 1954.

They have two daughters, Cherie (Shannon) Ashley of Casey; Charlotte (Bob) Webb of Katy, TX, five grandsons, Brock (Angela) Ashley, of Farmington, MO; Brett (Tara) Ashley, of Williamsport, IN; Bryce (Nellie) Webb, Kyle Webb & Trentyn Webb all of Katy, TX; seven great-grandchildren, Camryn, Joel & Jaret Ashley; Caiden & Carter Ashley; Trysten & Makayla Webb and one due January 2017.

Doyle served in the US Air Force and was owner/operator of Connelly Gravel, Connelly Building Systems and Connelly Plumbing. He served as a board member of the Casey School Board and was President; the City Council and Casey Country Club. He was a member of the Shrine Club and the 1070 Patrol and organized the Shrine Auction. After retiring and moving to Naples, FL, he served on the Homeowners Board of Directors where he was President for seven years. They then sold their home and bought an RV to travel the United States while visiting 37 states. In 2009 they decided to put down roots in Sebring, FL. Doyle was a hard worker and loved a challenge. He loved boating, his airplane, and traveling. He was a very good woodworker including making several rocking chairs for his great grandchildren.

Doyle will be cremated in Sebring with no memorial service currently being planned.
