Obituary for Shirley Blanche (Dornburgh) Fraker

Shirley Blanche (Dornburgh) Fraker of Marshall, IL passed away at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Twin Lakes Rehab and Health Care Center, Paris, IL.

She was born on March 24, 1931 in Exeter, CA, the daughter of Robert L. Dornburgh and Lennie Blanche Statler Dornburgh. On December 8, 1973, she married Alvan Lee Fraker in Las Vegas, NV. He passed away on December 21, 2015.

Survivors include son, Larry (Lynn) Hawkins of Mohave Valley, AZ; daughter, Diane Shannon of Marshall, IL; grandson, Mike Hawkins and granddaughter, Kelli Van Pinxteren. She was preceded by her parents, husband, two brothers, John and Bill Dornburgh and two sisters, Elaine Flowers and Eythlan Clement.

Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and quilting. She also enjoyed reading and had enough books to start a library.

Per her request cremation rites will be accorded.
