Kendra Jean Irby, age 70, of Casey, IL passed away at 8:18 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Palm Terrace of Mattoon, IL.
She was born July 31, 1945 in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Riley Eugene Galey and Marjorie Maxine Townsend Galey. On January 1, 1978 she married Frederick A. Irby in Casey, IL.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Irby of Casey, IL; daughter, Michela Rena Dill of Shelbyville, IL; grandchildren, Ricky Joe Dill and Nicole Dill; brother, Reggie Galey and wife Carol of Charleston, IL and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Rodney Eugene Dill and stepsons, Freddie Irby, Jr. and Ward Wayne Irby.
Mrs. Irby was retired after working for 35 years at TRW in Marshall, IL. She was a member of the Casey First Christian Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services and burial will be held at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL with Rev. Rick Emrich officiating.
