Condolence: Hello to the Darling family - So sorry for your loss, but Heaven gained an angel! Like many people, I remember Ray fondly. I remember him driving his car and following the old blue Riverside bus on our way to the Olympics, he was definitely a family man. I remember him coming into Svendsen's 76 when LE Myers drivers were fueling the trucks there. He always had a smile on his face and his crew respected him. Ada - you are an amazing woman. Obviously a great Mom of God to be blessed with all those kids. And, you kept all those (100?) CHUMS in line by simply saying 3 words. Wow. I also have good memories of each of the kids. Looks like over the years you guys have spread out all over the country. Make a point to all get together sometimes, it's good for you. Love and prayers, Ivan and Debby Witts

Condolence: Dear Ada & Family - We are so sorry for your loss. Although the years since I've know you are many, I want to let you know you all are in my heart and prayers especially at this time. I was one of your nurses at Dr McGhee's office in Decatur IL. I most remember caring for you during your pregnancy with Lori Lisa and Lana and of course care of them at their baby checks after that surprising delivery! Blessing X3!
I remember your 7th month pregnancy check up, noting your weight had doubled and mentioned you'd most likely have twins! Ada, what you may not know is how very much we admired you of your Mothering skills, how each older child had their special 'assistant job' and your calm, loving demeanor! To all us nurses you were certainly 'Mother of the Year' and I imagine this filtered down to your children also. I didn't know Ray as much but if he was your husband, he was one of the best too.
Love/Prayers/Peace........Sandy & Jerry
PS-My then 3yr old Lori was so excited you named one of the girls after her!
