Obituary for Jane Lovell

Jane Lovell, age 72, of Casey, IL passed away at 1:10 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Heartland Nursing Center, Casey, IL. She was born July 27, 1943 in Casey, IL, the daughter of Homer Lee Haley and Daisey Thompson Haley. On April 22, 1961 she married Jerald W. Lovell in Union Center, IL. He passed away on November 25, 1995.

Survivors include her daughters, Jeannette Duniphan and husband David of Martinsville, IL; Brenda Hutchens and husband Charles of Martinsville, IL and Sharon Worthington of Marshall, IL; sister, Elizabeth Peña of Greenfield, IN; grandchildren, Adam (Leanna) Lovell, Heather (Curtis) Watters, David (Denise) Duniphan, Jr., Bettina Hutchens, Lorelei Morgan, Alexander Worthington and Jerald Worthington; great grandchildren, Coryssa Garmany, Tatum Duniphan, William Lovell, Aiden Duniphan, Kaleigh Duniphan, Luke Lovell, and Neveah Duniphan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Alexander W. Lovell, great grandson, Timothy Lovell, brother, John Haley, and sisters, Agnes Winninger and Sharon Veach.

Jane was a 1961 graduate of Casey High School and a member of the Moriah Church of God. She was a building service worker at Eastern Illinois University for over 10 years. Prior to her work at EIU Jane had worked at the Rex Restaurant and the Casey Ettlebrick Shoe Company.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Lakins officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday evening at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
