Robert “Bob” Franklin Elliott, age 47, of Casey, IL passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in Terre Haute, IN. He was born on May 26, 1968 in Appleton, WI, the son of Franklin Earl Elliott and Linda Kay Park Elliott.
Survivors include his children, Robert “Bobby” Franklin Elliott II and Elisa Pearl Elliott; mother, Linda Elliott; sisters, Lisa (Chris) Seaton and Angela Black all of Casey, IL; nephews and niece, Kenny (Kelsey) Grigsby, Jeffrey Grigsby, Molly Elliott, Brandon Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Zachery Campbell and Kurt Seaton. He was preceded in death by his father and the mother of his children, Susana Raquiza.
Bob was a 1986 graduate of Yucca Valley High School. Bob was an active member of the Casey First Christian Church and a member of the Casey Masonic Lodge #442. He loved photography and was a self-employed photographer. He also worked as a cabinet builder for Garver, Inc. in Casey, IL. Bob was a true outdoorsman; he loved hunting, hiking, scuba diving and especially sailing and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Although he raised his family in Illinois, his heart was always in California.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Casey First Christian Church, 200 SE Eighth St., Casey, IL with Rev. Jon McDonald officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
