Harvey Lewis Phillippi, 73, of Casey, IL formerly of Rantoul, IL passed away at 4:27 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Heartland Nursing Center, Casey, IL. He was born April 11, 1942 in Orange Township, Clark County, IL, the son of Arthur Milo Phillippi and Rosetta Coleman Phillippi.

Survivors include son, Arthur “Artie” Phillippi of Rantoul, IL; daughter, Mary O’Bannon and husband Lucus of Rantoul, IL; brother, Junior Phillippi and wife Josephine of Lerna, IL; sister, Opal Blair and husband Dennis of Marshall, IL; nephews, nieces, twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Floyd, Lloyd, Richard, Lawrence, Bill,Vean and Jim Phillippi and sisters, Annabelle Phillippi and Betty Snack.

Harvey was a retired truck driver and a farmer.

A memorial service will be in the Washington Cemetery, south of Casey, IL at a later date with burial beside his parents.
