Phillip K.  Nash
Phillip K. Nash, 52, of rural Martinsville, IL passed away at 12:42 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. He was born October 7, 1962, the son of Lloyd Lee Nash and Elizabeth “Libby” Jean Davis Nash. On February 20, 1988 he married Sheree Gail Doyle in Martinsville, IL.
Survivors include his wife, Sheree Nash of Martinsville, IL; parents, Lloyd and Libby Nash of Martinsville, IL; son, Ethan (Leah) Nash of Indianapolis, IN; daughter, Carly Nash of Martinsville, IL; brother, Mike Nash of Oblong, IL; sister, Janet (Jim) Weir of Martinsville, IL and many nieces and nephews.
Phil was a 1980 graduate of Martinsville High School and was a lifelong farmer in the rural Martinsville, IL area. He was a member of Olive Branch Church of Martinsville, IL, the Clark County Farm Bureau and the Mid-West Tool Collectors Association. Phil was a loving and caring father and husband and enjoyed traveling with his wife to local state parks and enjoying the country. Other hobbies included skiing, woodworking and taking his dog “Otis” for rides in his truck. He was never a man to say “no” when somebody needed help or asked him for anything.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Greenwell Funeral Home, Martinsville, IL with Rev. Randy Nave officiating. Burial will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery, rural Martinsville, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL 62442.
Memorial donations may be made to Olive Branch Cemetery c/o 7874 E 400th Road, Martinsville, IL 62442.
