Gregory Michael Lowe, 47, of Casey, IL passed away at 2:47 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born January 1, 1968 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of William Eugene Lowe and Bonnie K. Wheeler Stockon. On September 28, 1991 he married Patricia E. Douglas in Cowden, IL.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-three years, Patti Lowe of Casey, IL; children, Derek (Cassandra) Lowe of Shelbyville, IL; Sheldon Lowe of Casey, IL; Kayley Harder of Altamont, IL; Shelby Lowe of Casey, IL and Sheridan Lowe of Casey, IL; father, William Lowe; mother, Bonnie Stockon of Pana, IL; brothers, Jim Lowe of Vandalia, IL; Kenny Lowe of Vena, IL and T.J. Duvall of Casey, IL and six grandchildren.
Greg previously worked for G & S Asphalt in Marshall, IL and was an over the road truck driver for over fifteen years.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the Word of Life Church, 10369 N 230th St., Casey, IL with Pastor Ken Wade officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 – 6 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
