Todd Allen Logan, 47, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on November 1, 1967 in Paris, IL, the son of Glenn Howard Logan and Crystal Lynn Claypool Logan. He had previously been married to Susan Brynes of Australia.

Survivors include his parents, Glenn and Crystal Logan of Martinsville, IL; brother, Sean William Logan and wife Kristine of Martinsville, IL; niece, River Laine Logan of Martinsville, IL; half-sister, Carrie Archuletto of CA; uncles and aunts, Lloyd and Donna Claypool of Marshall, IL, Carl Claypool of West Terre Haute, IN; Hylda Claypool of Marshall, IL; Tom and Dorothy Dashiell of Marshall, IL; Jim and Trish Logan of Marion, IA and Lavern and Donna Logan of Machester, IA and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Todd was a 1986 graduate of Martinsville High School and a 1988 graduate of Lake Land College. After college, he served in the US Navy on the USS Cook as a Petty Officer. Todd then attended Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, OK and was affectionately known as “Preacher”. He supported a child in the Dominican Republic through Compassion Ministry. He was an over the road truck driver, but enjoyed being home when possible. Todd was a very private person, but an extremely gifted musician. He loved music and played the tuba in the Marshall City Band on Friday nights. He enjoyed sports, especially basketball and soccer. Todd had a great fondness for his only niece, River Laine. He was an animal lover, most specifically his parents’ Yorkies, Katie and Zola.

Graveside inurnment will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Clarksville Cemetery, Clarksville, IL with Mr. Foster Probst officiating. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Martinsville American Legion Post 515.

Memorial donations may be made to Rescue Me Clifford Animal Rescue, 108 Circle Drive, Marshall, IL 62441.
