Betty Estelene Pine, 67, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 6:50 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Casey Health Care in Casey, IL. She was born on June 3, 1947 in Casey Township, Clark County, IL, the daughter of George Hanners and Evia O’Dell Hanners. On January 23, 1965, she married Dennis Lee Pine in Martinsville, IL.

Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Dennis Pine of Martinsville, IL; son, Joseph Pine of Casey, IL; mother, Evia Hanners of Casey, IL; sister, Helen Lee of Martinsville, IL; granddaughters, Abigail Bloemker and husband Brendon of Casey, IL and Aubrey Pine of Casey, IL; great granddaughter, AnnaBelle Grace Bloemker; brother in law, Gary (Patty) Pine of Highland, IL; sister in law, Evelyn (Jim) Stepp of Kokomo, IN; brother in law, Bill Rardin of Casey, IL; nephews, Jack (Lori) Rardin, Brent Rardin, Kirk (Donna) Rardin, Andy (Amy) Rardin, Patrick Pine; seven great nephews and three great nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, George Hanners; sister, Barbara Rardin; father and mother in law, Lee and Patricia Pine; brother in law, Jim Lee and one great nephew, Aurek Rardin.

Betty was a homemaker. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed playing Bingo and visiting the flower garden at the nursing home. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and her “sugar,” her husband Dennis.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Greenwell Funeral Home with Pastor David Huey officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville, IL. Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL.
