Rosalie Elaine Pappas, 83, of Dunnellon, FL went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, May 17, 2014. She was born on June 26th 1930 in Casey, IL the daughter of Glenn R. & Kathleen Beasley Carpenter.
Rosalie grew up in Casey, IL and was a graduate of Casey High School. She worked as an Insurance Underwriter in Indianapolis, Indiana before moving to Florida in 1975 with her first husband Kenneth Stewart. Rosalie was a member of the United Methodist Church in Estero, Florida.
She is survived by daughter Debbie Berg, husband Donald and son Kenneth of Fort Wayne, Indiana; son Bradley Stewart, wife Elizabeth, daughter Stayce and son, Remington of Indianapolis, Indiana; stepson Fred Rauh Jr., wife Nancy of Surfside Beach, SC and stepdaughters Nancy Griffin of Beverly Hills, FL and Karen Cord of Springhill, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands Kenneth Stewart, Fred Rauh and Nick Pappas.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Markwell Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Penelope Barber officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
