Mary Deana Mae Ikemire Zachary, 69 of Martinsville, IL passed away at 7:40 p.m. EST on Friday, May 12, 2006 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. Memorial graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2006 at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Martinsville, IL with Rev. Tom Marsh officiating.

Mary was born September 4, 1936 in Mattoon, IL the daughter of Dean Everett Ikemire and Etta June Goodwin Ikemire. On September 11, 1952 in Martinsville, IL she married Melton L. "Bud" Zachary. He passed away on September 24, 1999.

She is survived by sons, Pete Zachary & wife Jill of Putney, VT; Don Zachary & wife Shelly of Sandwich, IL; Steve Zachary & wife Carla of Martinsville, IL; Tom Zachary & wife Andi of Calhoun, GA; daughter, Steph Burris & fiance Steve Sula of Savoy, IL; brother, Lloyd Ikemire & wife Loretta of Sandwich, IL; sisters, June Ellington & husband Andy and Dorothy Hardway, of Martinsville, IL; grandsons, Russell Zachary & wife Tina, Ryan Zachary, Nicholas Zachary, Justin Zachary, & Ryan Burris; granddaughters, Heather Zachary, Jessica Zachary, Amy Zachary, Amanda Zachary, Ashley Zachary, Jennifer Craig & husband Harley and Lindsay Shepard & husband Kyle; great granddaughters, Tia & Gabrielle Zachary and Haley & Alyssa Shepard. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Christine Leigh Zachary, brother, James Dean Ikemire and grandson, Keith Leon Zachary.

Mary was a homemaker, cosmetologist and a teacher for a cosmetology school. She was a wonderful mother, an avid reader and a Nascar fan, especially Jeff Gordon.
